Yes, TMB requires a minimum booking of 4 hair services or 4 makeup services to travel on-site for wedding services. If multiple artists are booked for the event, each artist must always have a minimum of 4 services to complete. In the event that an artist has less than 4 services, a fee of $125 (per “missing” service) is applicable. 

No! If you have another hairstylist in mind, you are welcome to book us for makeup services only -- or vice versa! 

We travel 20 miles in each direction at no cost. Any mileage beyond that will be charged a rate of $1.00 per mile. A travel fee is applicable for each traveling artist. Should an artist need to pay for parking for an event, that amount will be added to the final invoice for reimbursement. 

We typically do not travel farther than 1.5 hours outside of the Twin Cities. In the event that we are able to travel further than this, we ask that lodging be provided for the team the night before. The standard mileage fee will also apply. 

Generally, no.  All TMB artists come equipped with their own professional hair/makeup kits and are trained in using specific products and techniques. This ensures that the hair and makeup is completed in a timely manner and is done so with products that are guaranteed to last.

Trial runs are hosted at our studio in Plymouth, MN, unless otherwise coordinated by you and your assigned artist. You are welcome to bring a guest with you for the trial run, but we do ask that you limit that to 1 person max.

Anyone who would like a trial run is welcome to schedule one with a TMB artist. If that person is not the bride, the trial run will be $150 for makeup (including airbrush and lashes) and/or $150 for hair (not including any extension placement). These costs are non-refundable.

Yes, you can. The cost for the trial is $175 for makeup and/or $175 for hair. Please note: we will not be able to officially reserve your date until we have a signed contract in place. 

In order to provide each person with a quality experience, we will schedule 30-45 minutes for all bridal party members and 1 hour for our brides. Hair and makeup will always happen concurrently (when applicable).

Typically, we assign a maximum of 7 services per artist. If more services are booked, it is likely we would need to consider adding an assistant artist for the event. 

We would be happy to discuss a timeline with you and book an assistant to accompany your artist for the day. Depending on the rigidity of the timeline, a fee of $125 per additional artist (plus applicable travel fees) may apply.
